Whole-home repiping in Denver
Low pressure, brown water, or pinhole leaks that keep coming back? Repiping your home in copper or PEX fixes the cause — most homes in one to three days.
Old pipes fail quietly for years, then all at once. If you're chasing leaks around the house or living with weak, discolored water, repiping trades a slow-motion problem for a clean, permanent fix.
Signs you need a repipe
- Low water pressure that's gotten worse over time as pipes scale up inside.
- Brown or rusty water, especially first thing in the morning — corroding galvanized pipe.
- Repeated pinhole leaks. One is bad luck; three means the whole system is going.
- Galvanized or polybutylene pipe. Common in older Denver homes and known to fail — poly especially.
Copper or PEX
We install both to code and recommend based on your home and water:
- Copper — time-tested, rigid, long-lived, and recyclable. The classic choice.
- PEX — flexible, freeze-resistant (a real advantage in Colorado), faster to install and often less expensive, and immune to the pinhole corrosion that can affect copper in certain water.
How the job goes
We map the runs, open minimal access points, and replace the system in sections to keep your water on as much as possible. We protect floors and walls, keep the site clean daily, patch access holes when we're done, and pressure-test the whole system before we call it finished. Most single-family homes are done in 1–3 days, and you almost never have to move out.
Common questions
How do I know if I need a repipe?
Low pressure, brown water, repeated pinhole leaks, and old galvanized or poly pipe. If you're patching leaks every few months, a repipe is almost always cheaper than the next five repairs.
Copper or PEX — which is better?
Both are excellent. Copper is rigid and long-lived; PEX is flexible, freeze-resistant, faster (often cheaper), and immune to pinhole corrosion. We recommend based on your home, water, and budget.
How long does a repipe take?
Most single-family homes are done in 1–3 days. We work in sections to keep water on, protect your home, and patch access holes cleanly.
Do we have to move out?
Almost never. We stage the work to keep water on most of the time with short planned shut-offs, and clean up daily.
